Facing the village of Albas, hanging on the 100 m high cliff, and reflecting in the Lot river, this place was regularly the theatre of battles during the medieval wars due to its strategic location. The 16 hectare vineyard is essentially planted on the third south facing terrace made of clay, pebbles of quartz and granitic rocks.
